We are pleased to offer you, the international education community, ITeachNet's first issue of 2007. Five prominent writers in the field of education have generously shared their views with us. They are:

- MICHAEL CLOUGH, Award winning teacher and science educator from Iowa State University;
- ARNOLD GREENBERG, Founder and Director of Liberty High School in Blue Hill, Maine;
- GREG STEFANICH, Professor at University of Northern Iowa, known internationally for his work in middle level education and advocacy for students with disabilities;
- ROBERT YAGER, Professor Emeritus at The University of Iowa, whose name has been synonymous with reform in science education for more than four decades.
